Anudip began operations in 2006 with three training centers in West Bengal state in eastern India.
Anudip's very first training center was inaugurated on May 8, 2006 at Asha Welfare Societyin Namkhana, almost at the mighty Ganges and Brahmaputra Rivers' joint confluence with the Bay of Bengal. Since then the number of our centres has grown quickly and by 2014 stretched up toward, around and well beyond the metropolis of Kolkata. Many of our centers are in rural or semi-urban locations, many exemplifying the natural beauty of India's villages celebrated by the country's great poets and song-writers. Some of our training centers serve urban slum dwellers and minorities.
Since 2006 Anudip has built up a network of market aligned skill development centers that numbered 152 on March 31, 2014. The centers today sprawl around cities of Kolkata, New Delhi, Bhubaneswar, Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Patna, and Siliguri, serving millions of rural and urban poor
who are offered livelihoods in and near the cities.
More than 200 DREAM entrepreneur centers now dot the landscape of eastern India, run by enterprising rural entrepreneurs, a very large proportion of whom are women. These business units showcase the peerless ability of our students once given the opportunity and skills to excel.
Five project service centers in Salt Lake, Baruipur, Metiabruz, Ranchi, and Bhubaneswar are now operated by our sister company, iMerit Technology Services
