Project Context
The role is responsible for managing and strengthening training and operational performance across multiple EV & Green Skills training centers within an assigned cluster. The focus is on enrolment, training delivery, placements, quality assurance, and stakeholder coordination under CSR and government-linked skilling initiatives.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership
- Ensure seamless operations of multiple training centers within the designated cluster.
- Provide strategic direction and operational leadership with a strong focus on enrolment, training outcomes, and placements.
- Implement programs and oversee center-level activities, resource utilization, and adherence to project mandates.
- Ensure consistent implementation of organizational policies, SOPs, and procedures across all centers.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and performance-driven work environment.
- Program Management & Coordination
- Oversee planning, coordination, and execution of EV & Green Skills programs across the cluster.
- Work closely with Center Managers to align programs with beneficiary needs, industry demand, and organizational objectives.
- Enable effective execution plans to meet project timelines, targets, and deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with process metrics, quality benchmarks, and monitoring frameworks, while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the primary liaison with internal stakeholders for operational requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, industry partners, local institutions, and other external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams including PMO, Academic Excellence, HR, M&E, CRD, MIS, Curriculum, IT, Finance, and Admin.
- Participate in review meetings and governance forums, sharing operational insights, challenges, and recommendations.
- Design and execute effective enrolment and mobilization strategies across the cluster.
- People Management
- Lead, train, mentor, and support Center Managers and cluster-level teams.
- Drive performance management systems, including KPIs, productivity benchmarks, and review mechanisms.
- Promote a positive work culture, employee engagement, and professional development.
- Develop and implement attrition reduction and employee satisfaction plans, including feedback loops and improvement initiatives.
- Ensure optimal team productivity and capability enhancement.
- Resource & Financial Management
- Manage budgetary resources effectively to maximize program impact.
- Monitor and optimize staffing, infrastructure, training equipment, and operational supplies.
- Ensure financial discipline and alignment of expenditures with project priorities and organizational goals.
- Documentation, Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Prepare and review periodic reports on operations, enrolment, placements, finances, and program outcomes.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for internal reviews, donor reporting, and internal/external audits.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, CSR norms, government guidelines, and organizational standards.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance frameworks to uphold training and service excellence.
- Drive adoption of technology tools (MIS, LMS, dashboards) and foster a culture of digital compliance and data-driven decision-making.
Desired Profile
Qualifications-Graduate / Postgraduate in any discipline
Experience & Skills
- 4+ years of experience in the skilling sector, preferably in CSR or government-funded skill development projects
- Strong experience in training operations, mobilization, enrolment, and placements
- Proven people management and multi-center operations leadership experience
- Familiarity with EV, automotive, manufacturing, or green skills programs is an added advantage
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable with technology platforms, MIS, and reporting systems
