Dipak Basu

Chairman/Founder

Dipak Basu, tech-humanitarian, founded Anudip Foundation in 2006, boosting rural livelihoods with IT and entrepreneurship training. Previously, at NetHope, he pioneered IT solutions for humanitarian operations. At Cisco Systems, he led Voice over IP and Metro Ethernet innovations. He established INDONET, India’s first public data network, while advising the Government. With degrees from IIT Kharagpur and USC, he’s won awards like the Tech Laureate for IT in Humanity and the President’s Award from Save the Children.

Jai Natarajan

Director, Technology Advisor

Jai Natarajan is the co-founder, former CEO, and Strategic Advisor at Xentrix Studios. He built Xentrix into Asia’s fastest-growing animation studio, scaling it to $10 million in annual revenue with a global client base. Jai has mentored several startups in media, education technology, and IoT. Previously, he was Group EVP at Maya Entertainment (acquired by Aptech) and co-founder/CTO of Prana Studios in Mumbai. Jai’s technology experience includes roles at Sony Electronics in Silicon Valley and Industrial Light and Magic, contributing to blockbuster movies. He holds degrees from BITS Pilani and UCLA.

Sumantra Banerjee

Director, Strategy Advisor

An IIT Kharagpur chemical engineer, Sumantra Banerjee later earned a master’s in polymer science and an MBA in the USA. After working at Monsanto in the US, he repatriated to India in 1988. Over 25 years, Banerjee served as CEO/MD across IT (ICIM/Zensar), music (Saregama), retail (Spencers), and power (CESC) industries. He was the MD of CESC for 21 years, CEO of Spencers for 7 years, and simultaneously supervised the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group’s power and retail businesses until retiring in 2013 after being on the management board since 1990.

Mohan Reddy

Mohan Reddy, has built organizations across manufacturing and IT. He recently transformed Madura Microfinance into a next-gen intelligent enterprise. Previously, he built a tech consulting practice now part of Tech Mahindra. Skilled in engineering high-performance teams and envisioning new ventures. Passionate about empowering people through training, technology and opportunities. Holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering and a PGDM from IIM Calcutta.

Matangi Gowrishankar

Matangi Gowrishankar has over 40 years of senior leadership experience across diverse industries like banking, retail, manufacturing, and oil & gas in India and globally. Her last role was Global Head of Capability Development at BP plc. An experienced independent director, she runs an executive coaching and HR consulting practice. Passionate about building high-performance teams and mentoring leaders. Holds a BA in Sociology and PGDPM&IR from XLRI Jamshedpur.

Sushmita Ghatak

Sushmita Ghatak, MBA, IIM Calcutta, and Fulbright – Nehru – CII Fellow has 30 years of professional experience and governance expertise across Tata Steel and Group ICRA.  She  is a member of the National Association of Impact Leaders, IICA. She is a certified Independent Director and Fellow, Institute of Directors. She is a mentor at Aspire for Her to improve DEI in business and conducts workshops and classes as a guest faculty at leading business schools on leadership and sustainability.

Sanjeev Kumar Agarwal

Sanjeev Kumar Agarwal, CFO of Tata Medical Center in Kolkata, brings over 19 years of financial expertise to the healthcare sector. Starting in the hotel industry in 2005, he rose to manage finances for multiple properties before transitioning to healthcare in 2012. His skills encompass accounts, auditing, budgeting, and fund management. Mr. Agarwal also serves as a Trustee of the Tata Eastern Medical Trust & Premashraya Trust, demonstrating his commitment to community service and healthcare advancement.

Monisha has a Master’s in Nuclear Physics and is a Haas School of Business alumna. Over 20 years in education management spanning academics, quality, product, and business development roles. Established consulting/CSR teams at LabourNet. Led The Princeton Review’s South Asia operations for 12 years, setting up an employability skills vertical. Conducted TOEFL trainer workshops for ETS in India. Part of CEGR’s advisory council and co-authored a book on employability skills. As Anudip CEO, she drives value through innovation, aligning donor goals, process improvements, and team building.

Vibhor Goel

Vibhor is an experienced engineering leader with over 20 years at multinational companies like Cisco, IBM, and Siemens. He excels in creating and leading product development teams, solving complex problems, and scaling operations. Passionate about using technology for skill development and education, he focuses on creating self-driven learners and bridging the digital divide. His interests include digital manipulatives and learning pathways. Vibhor holds an engineering degree from REC Calicut and an MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur.

An ACMA, Sumit has 26+ years of leadership experience at Fortune 500 companies like Reliance in India and Qatar Fertilizer Company. Extensive exposure across service and manufacturing industries in B2B & B2C environments. Handled wide-ranging finance functions including accounts, procurement, contracts, business analysis, taxation, operations, change management, process modeling, and audits. As Anudip’s CFO, he oversees financial planning, risk management, reporting, administration, and HR.

Tanmay Mukerjee

Tanmay has over 12 years of experience working with national and international agencies.
Tanmay holds a Masters degree in Sociology from University of Burdwan. Before joining Anudip in 2012, Tanmay was Senior Program Manager at Suprava in collaboration with Groupe Developpement, a French NGO, in its child protection from trafficking program.

Alakananda has over 16 years of marketing and corporate communications experience, with 13 years in the development sector. She started at CRY – Child Rights and You, advancing from Corporate Partnerships to leading resource mobilization, digital communication, and donor communication. At Terre des hommes – India Programmes, she led corporate and individual partnerships. She excels in client relationships and has worked with several large brands. Alakananda holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Communication Management from MICA and a Bachelor’s in Economics from St. Xavier’s College, Calcutta.

Som, with over 27 years of experience, is the Chief Learning Officer at ANUDIP. He previously served as Director of Consulting at PCC India, specializing in change management and people development. Shom has been an Organizational Development and Change Management consultant for the World Bank. He has also led Learning and Organizational Development for Tata AIG, AIG companies in India, PwC, Airtel, and NIS Sparta. Additionally, he has consulted for Deloitte, Wipro, Britannia, Kotak, Accenture, Ernst & Young, and SAP Labs as a leadership coach.

Jalajakshi, with a Master’s in Agricultural Economics and a certification in Leadership Development, has over 20 years in the development sector. She specializes in livelihood enablement, sustainable development, natural resource management, and climate change mitigation. At TERI, she led sustainable development projects, and at LabourNet, she focused on impact measurement and CSR advisory. At GIZ, she worked on socio-economic development and improving social security for unorganized workers. She has authored technical papers and presented internationally.

Bishwanath Debnath

Bishwanath has over 12 years of experience in Customer Relations, Training, and Instructional Design, specializing in using technology for organizational improvement. Prior to joining Anudip, he worked at Aircel Nodal Desk, supervising voice and TRAI escalations, and began his career with Tata Telecom’s Retention Team. At Anudip, he manages the instructional design portal for digitized content and incorporates blended learning methodologies to enhance training effectiveness.
