A Success Story of Transformation 

Rutuja Kailas Labade’s journey exemplifies the impact of Anudip’s Theory of Change. Hailing from Jarkarwadi, a remote village in the Pune district, Maharashtra, Rutuja’s life was deeply intertwined with her family’s farming activities. Despite her passion for ‘kheti’ (farming) and a deep connection to her rural roots, Rutuja dreamed of breaking free from the cycle of poverty that defined her family’s existence.

With limited access to resources and opportunities, Rutuja’s aspirations of working in a multinational corporation seemed distant. She was often labelled as “a simple graduate from a village with low-English-vocabulary.” However, Rutuja’s determination, and guidance from her college’s Head of Department, led her to the Anudip Foundation.

At Anudip’s Airoli Centre, Rutuja was enrolled in the Java DeepTech course—a three-month full-time software development training designed for advanced careers. Under the guidance of her tech trainer, Medha Ma’am, Rutuja navigated the complexities of Java and .NET technology, fields that were entirely new to her. But it wasn’t just technical skills that Anudip provided; Rutuja also worked diligently on improving her English, recognising the importance of communication in her career path.

On completing her training, Anudip’s corporate relations team assisted Rutuja with her job hunt. Soon she was selected as an Analyst at Capgemini, a role that fulfilled her dreams and brought immense pride to her community. “Our work cubicle is bigger than our home,” she remarked, highlighting the stark contrast between her humble beginnings and her current professional environment. Rutuja now earns three times her family’s income and, within six months, received her first increment at Capgemini—a testament to her hard work and the transformative power of Anudip’s programs.
